Police are still on scene investigating an accident involving a Semi and a pedestrian.
It happened around 11:45am. The adult male was walking on the curb close to traffic in the east-bound lane of Sterling Lyon Parkway just east of Kenaston Blvd.
It is possible that the semi driver did not know that his vehicle hit the pedestrian. The victim, an adult male. was taken to hospital in critical condition.
Police are asking for any semi drivers in the area at approximately 11:40am to contact them at 204-986-6271.
The area surrounding the accident will be closed for several hours while police investigate.
