Just after midnight on Saturday, January 9, 2021, firefighters responded to a house fire in the 600 block of Aberdeen Avenue.
When emergency crews arrived on the scene smoke and flames were coming from the one-and-a-half storey building. An offensive attack was launched.
It took about 10 minutes for crews to get the upper hand with the fire being declared under control at 12:25 am.
Firefighters searched the building and confirmed no one was inside.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
