RCMP is investigating after a child was abducted from a home in Steinbach on Wednesday, June 23, 2021.
According to police the child was at the home of a babysitter when a woman entered the residence and took the child without permission. The 56-yrar-old abductor the left the area on a bicycle.
Officers canvassed the area and continued to investigate. At 8:25 am the female and child were found in a Steinbach residence. The child was safely returned to his mother. The female abductor was taken into custody and charged with Abduction.
