– – – RCMP reported on October 23, 2020 that Gwyneth’s body was recovered from the Churchill River near Leaf Rapids earlier today.
On October 12, 2020, at approximately 5:35 pm, Leaf Rapids RCMP received a report of a missing 19-year-old female, from the community.
Gwyneth Gegenfurtner, was last seen on October 11, 2020, in the area of Mikinak Bay, in Leaf Rapids.
She is 5’6”, approximately 140 lbs, with brown hair and brown eyes.
Police and family are concerned for her well-being.
