RCMP from Dauphin are investigating the death of a Pine Creek First Nation man after being called to the scene of an ATV collision on September 24, 2020, in the RM of Mountain.
Police say the collision happened in the early afternoon near Provincial Road 489 and Provincial Road 271.
When officers arrived on the scene they located a deceased 35-year-old male. A 39-year-old female was also located with serious but not life-threatening injuries. She was taken to hospital.
Investigators say the death of the male victim is considered suspicious.
RCMP say that there is no risk to public safety after reports of a manhunt related to this case were circulated.
Police continue to investigate.
