The Manitoba State of Emergency extended into October

Manitoba has extended the state of emergency for another 30 days as the province continues to live with the COVID-19 pandemic.

The state of emergency allows the government to take quick action to support efforts related to the pandemic. The special powers were first declared on March 20, 2020 but have been extended every 30 days since.

The current extension took effect at 4:00pm September 10 and will expire October 9, 2020, unless it is once again extended. It is likely the state of emergency will continue to be extended for the foreseeable future.
