Three more cases of COVID-19 identified in Manitoba on Wednesday

On Wednesday, July 29, 2020, Manitoba Public Health announced three new cases of COVID-19 have been identified in the province as of 9:30 am. The total number of lab-confirmed and probable cases of the virus in Manitoba is 407.

Two of the new cases are from the Interlake-Eastern Health Region while one of the cases is from the Winnipeg Health Region.

There are currently six people being treated in hospital for COVID-19 with four of those in intensive care.

The are currently 74 active cases with 325 people listed as recovered in the province.

The number of deaths related to the virus in Manitoba is eight.

665 laboratory tests were completed on Tuesday, bringing the total number of tests completed since early February to 86,367.

Public health also reports that a male who was listed as a new case in Winnipeg on July 25, 2020, has been removed from the case totals after it was discovered that he had previously had a previous infection in another province.
