No cases of COVID-19 reported on Thursday, May 7th

Zero cases of COVID-19 have been identified in Manitoba on Thursday, May 7, 2020. One case that had originally been reported as probable has now been confirmed as negative. That means that the total number of lab-confirmed and probable cases drops by one to 283.

Five people are currently being treated in hospital for the virus with no patients in intensive care.

The number of deaths related to COVID-19 in Manitoba remains at Seven.

243 people have recovered from the virus with 33 cases still listed as active.

527 tests for COVID-19 were performed on Wednesday, May 6, 2020, bringing the total number of tests performed since early February to 28,810.

Testing criteria now includes all symptomatic Manitobans. Anyone showing symptoms still needs to be referred for testing by calling Health Links at 204-788-8200 or 1-888-315-9257.
