No new cases of COVID-19 as Manitoba begins to loosen restrictions

No new cases of COVID-19 have been identified in Manitoba on Monday, May 4, 2020. The total number of lab-confirmed and probable cases remain at 281.

Five people are currently being treated in hospital for the virus with no patients in intensive care.

The number of deaths related to COVID-19 in Manitoba remains at six.

238 people have recovered from the virus with 37 cases still listed as active.

642 tests for COVID-19 were performed on Sunday, May 3, 2020, bringing the total number of tests performed since early February to 27, 446.

Testing criteria now includes all symptomatic Manitobans. Anyone showing symptoms still needs to be referred for testing by calling Health Links at 204-788-8200 or 1-888-315-9257.
