No new cases of COVID-19, testing open to all symptomatic Manitobans

Manitoba Public Health announced on Tuesday, April 28, 2020, that there are no news cases of COVID-19 identified in the province. The total number of cases remains at 272

Currently, there are seven people being treated for the virus in the hospital with two in intensive care.

209 people have recovered from COVID-19 in Manitoba with 57 cases remaining active.

The number of deaths related to the virus remains at 6 in Manitoba.

321 tests were performed on Monday, April 27th bringing the total number of lab-confirmed and probable tests performed since early February to 23,857

Testing criteria now includes all symptomatic Manitobans. Anyone showing symptoms still needs to be referred for testing by calling Health Links at 204-788-8200 or 1-888-315-9257.
