Three new cases of COVID-19 identified in Manitoba on Saturday

Three new cases of COVID-19 have been identified in Manitoba on Saturday April 18, 2020, according to public health officials bringing the total to 253

Seven people are currently in hospital related to COVID-19 with four receiving treatment in intensive care

The number of deaths in the province related the virus remains at five.

140 people are listed as recovered in Manitoba. There are currently 108 active cases of COVID-19

340 tests for COVID-19 were performed at Cadham Provincial Laboratory bringing the total number of tests performed since early February to 19,193

Public health officials are expanding testing criteria to all symptomatic workers or volunteers at workplaces that have been identified as essential services. People who live with a health-care worker, first responder or worker in a congregate setting like a correctional facility, shelter, long-term care or residential facility.
