Winnipeg Police have arrested and charged a Winnipeg teacher with Sexual Exploitation, Sexual Assault, and Supply Liquor to Minor after multiple incidents involving a 16-year-old.
Police say the 27-year-old female teacher worked at Grant Park High School and the victim attended the school.
It is alleged that the offences happened between December 1, 2019 and February 8, 2020.
After being arrested and charged the teacher was released on a release order that included a number of conditions.
According to police the accused is not permitted to have any contact of communication with the victim. She is not allowed to access the internet or have in her possession any device that is capable of doing so. She is not permitted to have contact with anyone under the age of 18 and is not allowed to continue employment, get new employment, volunteer in any capacity involving trust or authority over anyone under 18.
