Inactive plates lead to drug arrest

Brandon have two suspects in custody after making a traffic stop due to inactive plates on the vehicle they were in.

Police say that made the stop around 1:00 am on Friday, June 7, 2019 in the 1300 block of Rosser Avenue E.

As officers approached the vehicle they spotted open liquor in plain view and arrested the occupants of the vehicle.

As police searched the suspects they found two bags with 15 grams of Meth, a bag with Meth and a cutting agent, drug paraphernailia and a set of brass knuckles.

The two suspects, a 22-year-old male and a 30-year-old female are facing charges for their alleged involvement of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Meth, and Possession of Prohibited Weapon. The male suspect is also facing a charge for Breach of Probation.
