Police looking for three suspects in the murder of Justin Silicz

Winnipeg Police Are looking for three men in connection the killing of 32-year-old Justin Silicz.

Police say that Silicz was with two other adults around 4:30 am Sunday, June 2, 2019 when they became involved in altercation with three other men.

The altercation happened near Arlington Street and McDermot Avenue (originally police had reported the incident at Arlington Street and Notre Dame Avenue) and escalated to the point that Justin suffered significant injuries. Police say that during the incident the two groups moved onto Winnipeg Avenue between Arlington Street and Tecumseh Street.

Silicz was taken to hospital in critical conduction but later died.

Police are looking for three suspects.

Suspect 1 is described a black male in his 20s, about 6’0″ tall with a slim build wearing red clothing.

Suspects 2 and 3 are described as males with darker complexions and wearing dark clothing.

All three suspects left the area on foot heading east on Winnipeg Avenue say police.

Police are asking area businesses to check their security systems for any possible video of the fight or suspects.
