Winnipeg Police are investigating the death of an adult female early Saturday morning, May 25, 2019.
Officers were called to a home in the 400 block of Simcoe Street for a report of an injured person.
When police arrived they found the victim suffering from stab wounds. She was taken to hospital in critical condition by died soon afterwards.
Police have not released the name of the victim.
The WPS Homicide unit is investigating the death and is asking anyone with information that can help them to call 204-986-6508 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
