Jason Peter James, 40 from Winnipeg was found by police on September 22, 2018, after they were called to a residence on Prichard Avenue to check the wellbeing of a person there. James had been violently assaulted.

Investigators have identified two men in connection to the killing and are asking for any information about their whereabouts.

 Michael Anthony Caribou is described as an Indigenous male, 28-years-old, with black hair and brown eyes. He is approximately 5’9″ in height and weighs approximately 140 lbs.

Faron Alexander Spence is described as an Indigenous male, 39 years old, with black hair and brown eyes. He is approximately 5’8″ in height and weighs approximately 140 lbs.
