As News 4 told you in August 2017 Winnipeg Police began an investigation into the murder of 29-year-old Mustafa Peyawary at a home in the 100 block of Killarney Avenue.
Two suspects were identified and arrested within days of the killing. Damir Kulic, 27 from Vancouver and Ahamed Althaaf Ismail form Edmonton were both charged with first degree murder.

As the investigation continued, homicide detectives identified a third suspect in the murder plot. Police say that they believe that 25-year-old Aram Soroush was involved in the planning and organizing the murder of Peyarwary.
A Canada-wide warrant was issued for Soroush’s arrest on January 10, 2018, and within hours he was picked up by homicide detectives from the Vancouver Police Department. According to investigators, the suspect was found in a residence in downtown Vancouver.
Winnipeg Police sent detectives to Vancouver to pick up and return Soroush to Winnipeg to face trial.
He remains in custody.
