Winnipeg police are looking for a male suspected of carjacking an SUV in the lane behind the first 100 block of Bayridge Avenue.
It happened just after 7:30 pm last evening, October 4, 2017.

Police say that a male victim had stopped his vehicle when the suspect approached his vehicle with a handgun and demanded the victim’s SUV. The victim was hit in the head with the gun and turned over the keys to the vehicle. The suspect stole the victim’s wallet before taking off in his vehicle.

Police are looking for a 2016 White Nissan Rogue with a vertical scratch on the back door. Manitoba licence plate HBG 521
The vehicle is similar to the one in the photo below.
The Winnipeg police Major Crime Unit is investigating the incident but have not made an arrest in this case.
