Once again the scramble to find overnight parking on city streets is on.
Effective December 1, 2016 and running until beginning of March is the annual city parking ban. Vehicles may not park on streets designated as snow routes between 2:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m.
Vehicles are not allowed to park on snow routes as they have been identified a priority routes to be cleared of snow so that emergency vehicles, like fire, ambulances and police can navigate the city quickly and safely.
Parking overnight on a snow route will net you a rather large fine and you may come out in the morning to find your vehicle has been removed from the street.
