Robber knocks handicapped man to ground and assaults him multiple times

An man is his sixties, who used a walker to aid in his mobility, was approached by an unknown male who grabbed the victim’s arm and demanded money. Before the victim could respond he was assaulted in the upper body and knocked to the ground. The victim gave the suspect an amount of money but the suspect continued to assault the victim while he was on the ground.

The suspect also threatened the victim to not contact the police.

The assault happened Tuesday, July 26 at 3:45 in the afternoon at Grant’s Old Mill Park.

The male suspect is described as:

• Caucasian
• Approximately 6-feet in height
• Spoke with a slight accent (unknown what language)
• Short brown hair
• Dark coloured eyes
• Wearing a blue coloured baseball hat, shorts and a t-shirt
