One person was sent to the hospital on Friday night, November 11, 2022, after they drove an SUV into the front of Stella’s restaurant on Grant Avenue.
It happened around 10:30 pm. Paramedics treated the female driver at the scene and then transported her to hospital in stable condition.
Police say that they do not believe alcohol played a factor in the collision.
A police officer was able to back the vehicle out of the building after Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service told them it was safe to do so as no fluids were leaking from the utility vehicle.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
