A 21-year-old Dauphin man is wanted for arson after a fire was discovered at Parkview Lodge in Dauphin early Tuesday morning, October 25, 2022.
Police say that around 3:30 am they responded to a break-and-enter report at the facility. When officers arrived on the scene they discovered a small fire. Dauphin Fire Department was called and officers worked to evacuate the building. Firefighters quickly contained the fire to a common-use area and with help from the Office of the Fire Commissioner were able to determine the blaze was deliberately set.
No injuries were reported as a result of the fire.
Police have identified the suspect as Alexander Koski. A warrant has been issued for his arrest. He has been charged for his alleged involvement with Arson with Disregard for Human Life and Mischief over $5,000.
Koski is described as 5′ 11″ tall, weighing 165 lbs with brown hair and eyes.
