On Tuesday, October 18, 2022, Winnipeg Police and other emergency crews responded to a serious collision on St. Mary’s Road near Guay Avenue.
Police say that a vehicle struck a utility pole just before 9:00 pm.
There were two males in the vehicle at the time of the collision. Both were transported to hospital in critical condition. The 18-year-old driver remains in serious condition. The 17-year-old passenger did not survive his injuries and was pronounced dead shortly after arriving in hospital.
