947 new cases of COVID-19 have been identified today. Public health officials are reporting one death related to the virus today.
The current provincial COVID-19 test positivity rate is 24.2 per cent provincially.
There are 7,488 active cases of COVID-19 in the province. 183 people are in hospital due to COVID-19 including 29 patients being treated in ICU.
3,852 lab tests were taken yesterday. That brings the total number of COVID-19 tests completed in the province since February 2020 to 1,266,474
The total number of people who died from the virus in Manitoba is 1,384.
Outbreaks have been declared at Northern Spirit Manor personal care home in Thompson; Actionmarguerite St. Boniface personal care home in Winnipeg; and Fred Douglas Lodge personal care home in Winnipeg.
