Manitoba has reported 919 new cases of COVID-19 today along with 12 additional deaths reported. The death toll is 1,478 in the province due to the virus.
Hospitalizations are also up with 631 people being treated for COVID-19 including 50 receiving treatment in ICU.
The provincial test positivity rate is at 33.1 per cent.
There are currently 41,708 active cases in Manitoba
3,047 lab tests were taken yesterday. That brings the total number of COVID-19 tests completed in the province since February 2020 to 1,355,030.
Outbreaks have been declared at:
- St. Boniface Hospital, M2, Winnipeg;
- River East personal care home, Winnipeg;
- Concordia Hospital, N3 East, Winnipeg;
- Health Sciences Centre, PX2 East, Winnipeg; and
- Gillam Hospital, Gillam.
