Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to a single-vehicle collision on Kanata Street near Harvard Avenue East just before 3:00 am on Friday, November 5, 2021..

When emergency crews arrived on the scene they found a car laying on its roof with significant damage to the front end of the vehicle. It appears the vehicle did not negotiate a curve in the road and collided with a tree before flipping not the roof.

One person was removed from the vehicle and transported to hospital with unknown injuries.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.
