Manitoba has reported 827 new cases of COVID-19 today along with eight additional deaths reported. The death toll is 1,492 in the province due to the virus.
Hospitalizations are also up with 664 people being treated for COVID-19 including 50 receiving treatment in ICU.
The provincial test positivity rate is at 32.4 per cent.
There are currently 36,575 active cases in Manitoba
2,721 lab tests were taken yesterday. That brings the total number of COVID-19 tests completed in the province since February 2020 to 1,360,243.
Outbreaks have been declared at:
- Health Sciences Centre, unit PX3, Winnipeg; and
- Brandon Regional Health Centre, 300 surgical unit, Brandon.
