825 new cases of COVID-19 have been identified today. Public health officials are reporting five deaths related to the virus today.

The current provincial COVID-19 test positivity rate is 21.9 per cent provincially.

There are 6,546 active cases of COVID-19 in the province. 164 people are in hospital due to COVID-19 including 27 patients being treated in ICU.

3,266 lab tests were taken yesterday. That brings the total number of COVID-19 tests completed in the province since February 2020 to 1,262,619.

The total number of people who died from the virus in Manitoba is 1,383.
