67 additional cases of COVID-19 identified in Manitoba

67 new cases of COVID-19 have been identified today.

Of the cases reported today, 45 were not vaccinated, seven were partially vaccinated and 15 were fully vaccinated

The five-day test positivity rate is currently 2.3 per cent provincially.

The total number of lab-confirmed cases in Manitoba is 59,944.

There are currently 496 active cases of COVID-19 in Manitoba with 58,241 people listed as recovered.

68 Manitobans are in hospital with COVID-19 of which 14 are in intensive care.

3,043 tests were completed yesterday. Since the virus first arrived in February 2020, there have been 979,024 tests completed.

The total number of deaths related to COVID-19 in Manitoba is 1,207.

An outbreak of COVID-19 linked to the delta variant has been declared at Christian Heritage School in Brandon. One class has been moved to remote learning until Oct. 1, and close contacts have been notified and are self-isolating.
