64 new cases of COVID-19 and two additional deaths reported

64 new cases of COVID-19 were identified in the province today. Two deaths were reported due to the virus.

The five-day test positivity rate is currently 6.0 per cent provincially.

The total number of lab-confirmed cases in Manitoba is 56,417

There are currently 1,018 active cases of COVID-19 in Manitoba with 54,249 people listed as recovered.

144 Manitobans are in hospital with COVID-19 of which 42 are in intensive care.

1,175 tests were completed yesterday. Since the virus first arrived in February 2020, there have been 835,879 tests completed.

The total number of deaths related to COVID-19 in Manitoba is 1,150.

Case numbers have been taken from Manitoba’s COVID-19 dashboard. As of Saturday, July 3, the province is no longer releasing COVID-19 bulletins on the weekend
