The collision involved a vehicle and a pedestrian. The pedestrian was taken to hospital in critical condition.
Police had the intersection blocked off for hours as they continued their investigation into the incident.
There is no update on the victim and police have not said if the driver will face any charges.
Over the past several weeks there has been a number of vehicle pedestrian collisions in Winnipeg.
