342 new cases of COVID-19 were identified today including 97 cases Saturday, Oct 30 and 149 cases Sunday, October 31 and 96 cases today. Two additional deaths were reported one on Saturday in the Prairie Mountain health region and one on Monday in the Northern health region.
The current provincial COVID-19 test positivity rate is 4.6 per cent.
Of the cases identified in the province today, 63 are people who have not been vaccinated. Seven have been partially vaccinated and 26 are people who are fully vaccinated
There are 1,273 active cases of COVID-19 in the province with 98 people hospitalized. 25 Manitobans are being treated in intensive care units
1,954 lab tests were taken yesterday. That brings the total number of COVID-19 tests completed in the province since February 2020 to 1,092,303
The total number of people who died from the virus in Manitoba is 1,248.
An outbreak has been declared at École Régionale Notre-Dame, grade 11/12 class in Notre Dame de Lourdes. Non-immunized students are self isolating and the school has been moved to the Restricted (Orange) level on the #RestartMB Pandemic Response System.
Manitoba’s Immunization app has been updated to include the Pan-Canadian proof of vaccination credential (PVC).
