334 new cases of COVID-19 and two additional deaths identified

334 new cases of COVID-19 were identified over the weekend including, 107 cases Saturday, Oct 23; 149 cases Sunday, Oct. 24; and 78 cases today. Two additional deaths were reported

The current provincial COVID-19 test positivity rate is 3.9 per cent.

Of the 78 cases identified in the province today, 54 are people who have not been vaccinated. Five have been partially vaccinated and 19 are people who are fully vaccinated

There are 1,071 active cases of COVID-19 in the province with 83 people hospitalized. 20 Manitobans are being treated in intensive care units

2,130 lab tests were taken yesterday. That brings the total number of COVID-19 tests completed in the province since February 2020 to 1,073,161

The total number of people who died from the virus in Manitoba is 1,237.
