Winnipeg Police are treating the death of a 44-year-old male in a city park as a homicide.
Police were called to the park at Higgins Avenue and Maple Street just after 7:00 am on Wednesday June 19, 2019.
The victim has been identified as Gabriel Radford Coates.
Police say they believe that Coates may have been assaulted overnight.
