A-24-year-old woamn has died after being hit by a vehicle late Sunday night, October 16, 2022.
Winnipeg Police say that the collision happened at approximately 11: 30 pm on Portage Avenue at Berry Street. The victim had been crossing Portage Avenue when a late model silver/grey SUV struck her. The occupants in the vehicle fled the scene.
The victim was taken to hospital in unstable condition but later died from her injuries.
Police have identified the victim as Shannon Joan Marie Romaniuk
