Manitoba has reported 2,383 new cases of COVID-19 today along with 19 additional deaths reported over the weekend. The death toll is 1,427 in the province due to the virus.
Hospitalizations are also up with 378 people being treated for COVID-19 including 39 receiving treatment in ICU.
The provincial test positivity rate is at 49 per cent.
There are currently 31,618 active cases in Manitoba
4,397 lab tests were taken yesterday. That brings the total number of COVID-19 tests completed in the province since February 2020 to 1,325,149.
Outbreaks have been declared at:
- Vista Park Lodge, Winnipeg;
- Neepawa Health Centre;
- Misericordia Health Centre, C2, Winnipeg;
- Health Sciences Centre, GD3, Winnipeg;
- Thompson General Hospital, obstetrics and neonatal unit, Thompson;
- Donwood Manor personal care home, first floor, Winnipeg;
- Brandon Regional Health Centre, 400 medical unit, Brandon; and
- Grace Hospital, 3 south, Winnipeg.
