Early Tuesday morning, March 2, 2021, Winnipeg Police were told that a man with access to guns was making threats against a female at a residence in the west end of Notre Dame Avenue.
Multiple patrol units responded as well as Air-1. The aerial observer spotted a male behind a single-family home loading the trunk of a vehicle with cases.
Around 3:25 am officers moved in and arrested the male. A search of the vehicle and home uncovered a stash of ammunition and firearms.

A 33-year-old male has been charged for his alleged involvement with 22 firearms-related offences and for possessing body armour.
The unidentified male was detained in custody.
