    206 new cases of COVID-19 and two additional deaths reported Wednesday

    206 new cases of COVID-19 have been identified since today. Public health officials report that two more people died from the virus.

    The current provincial COVID-19 test positivity rate is 6.2 per cent.

    Of the cases identified in the province today, 110 are people who are not fully vaccinated

    There are 1,779 active cases of COVID-19 in the province. 139 people are in hospital due to COVID-19 including 34 patients being treated in ICU.

    3,171 lab tests were taken yesterday. That brings the total number of COVID-19 tests completed in the province since February 2020 to 1,217,584

    The total number of people who died from the virus in Manitoba is 1,357.
