203 new cases of COVID-19 and three additional deaths reported on Thursday

203 new cases of COVID-19 have been identified today. Public health officials report that three more people died from the virus.

The current provincial COVID-19 test positivity rate is 6.4 per cent.

Of the cases identified in the province today, 95 are people who have not been vaccinated. Eight have been partially vaccinated and 100 are people who are fully vaccinated

There are 1,623 active cases of COVID-19 in the province. 145 people are in hospital due to COVID-19 including 35 patients being treated in ICU.

3,627 lab tests were taken yesterday. That brings the total number of COVID-19 tests completed in the province since February 2020 to 1,200,082

The total number of people who died from the virus in Manitoba is 1,344.
