Winnipeg Police are investigating a homicide that happened Thursday evening, December 10, 2020, in the north end of the city
Officers had responded to the area around 9:40 pm after receiving a report that a male had been assaulted. The victim was located in the 1600 block of Burrows Avenue with life-threatening injuries. Police began administering CPR while waiting for paramedics to arrive.
The victim was taken to the hospital where he died shortly afterwards.
Police have identified the victim as 20-year-old Delaney Lee Sinclair.
Police say that an adult suspect was taken into custody but no charges have been laid at this time.
