198 new cases of COVID-19 have been identified today. Public health officials report that one more person died from the virus.

The current provincial COVID-19 test positivity rate is 5.7 per cent.

Of the cases identified in the province today, 116 are people who are not fully vaccinated

There are 1,691 active cases of COVID-19 in the province. 142 people are in hospital due to COVID-19 including 35 patients being treated in ICU.

3,390 lab tests were taken yesterday. That brings the total number of COVID-19 tests completed in the province since February 2020 to 1,203,473

The total number of people who died from the virus in Manitoba is 1,345.

An outbreak has been declared at Misericordia Health Centre, Transitional Care Unit (TCU) Cornish 6, in Winnipeg.
