188 new cases of COVID-19 and an additional 19 deaths reported

Manitoba has reported 188 new cases of COVID-19 today along with 19 additional deaths reported. The total number of deaths due to the virus is 1,637.

Hospitalizations are currently 633 people being treated for COVID-19 including 40 receiving treatment in ICU.

The provincial test positivity rate is at 22.3 per cent.

There are currently 14,938 active cases in Manitoba

1,115 lab tests were taken yesterday. That brings the total number of COVID-19 tests completed in the province since February 2020 to 1,403,170.
