Police say two calls came within an hour of each other
An 18 year old male is behind bars after he allegedly called in two bomb threats on Friday afternoon.
Just before 4:30 pm on April 28, 2017 police say they received a report of a bomb at St. Vital Mall in South Winnipeg.
While a number of units were on scene, including K-9 officers, a second bomb threat was phoned in around 5:20pm.
Police and mall security worked jointly to determine that the calls were a hoax
Police continued their investigation and have taken Baron Morisette into custody he was charged with public mischief (x2) and fail to comply with probation order.
He remains in custody
