178 new cases of COVID-19 have been identified today. Public health officials report that three more people died from the virus.

The current provincial COVID-19 test positivity rate is 6.4 per cent.

Of the cases identified in the province today, 96 are people who have not been vaccinated. 11 have been partially vaccinated and 71 are people who are fully vaccinated

There are 1,638 active cases of COVID-19 in the province. 153 people are in hospital due to COVID-19 including 34 patients being treated in ICU.

2,875 lab tests were taken yesterday. That brings the total number of COVID-19 tests completed in the province since February 2020 to 1,196,452

The total number of people who died from the virus in Manitoba is 1,341.
