171 new cases of COVID-19 reported since Friday

171 new cases of COVID-19 have been identified and two additional deaths were reported due to the virus since Friday. This includes 72 cases on Saturday, Sept. 11; 58 cases on Sunday, Sept. 12; and 41 cases today. 

Of the reported cases for Monday 32 were not fully vaccinated.

The five-day test positivity rate is currently 3.2 per cent provincially.

The total number of lab-confirmed cases in Manitoba is 59,368.

There are currently 569 active cases of COVID-19 in Manitoba with 57,597 people listed as recovered.

69 Manitobans are in hospital with COVID-19 of which 14 are in intensive care.

1,739 tests were completed yesterday. Since the virus first arrived in February 2020, there have been 951,975 tests completed.

The total number of deaths related to COVID-19 in Manitoba is 1,202.
