Winnipeg Police have arrested a 17 year old female after they were called to a dispute at an apartment in the 400 block of Young Street.
Two females were located in a stairwell, one was carrying a bag.
When officers searched the bag they found a sawed-off 12-gauge shotgun and ammunition.
The 17 old female, who cannot be identified because she is underage, has been charged for her alleged involvement with:
- Possession of a Weapon
- Carrying Concealed Weapon Prohibited Device or Ammunition
- Unauthorized Poss of a Prohibited or Restricted Weapon
- Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Firearm with Ammunition
- Careless Storage of Firearm, Weapon, Prohibited Device or Ammunition
- Fail to Comply with Sentence x2
- Warrant for Arrest (Fail to Comply with Sentence x2)
She was detained in custody.
