RCMP are not concerned about public safety in relation to shooting
RCMP report that on Sunday, July 9, 2017 a shooting had occurred on the Lakeside Hutterite Colony just west of Winnipeg in the RM of Cartier.
When police arrived they found a 16 year old male with a gunshot wound to his body dead at the scene.
Investigators say that the victim was with another youth at the time of the shooting.
No charges have been laid but police are continuing to investigate the incident
