147 new cases of COVID-19 have been identified today along with three additional deaths
The current provincial COVID-19 test positivity rate is 5.9 per cent.
Of the cases identified in the province today, 79 are people who have not been vaccinated. Four have been partially vaccinated and 64 are people who are fully vaccinated
There are 1,537 active cases of COVID-19 in the province with 153 people hospitalized. 22 Manitobans are being treated in intensive care units
1,710 lab tests were taken yesterday. That brings the total number of COVID-19 tests completed in the province since February 2020 to 1,157.516
The total number of people who died from the virus in Manitoba is 1,299.
As of today, more than 22,000 appointments have been booked for children aged 5 to 11 to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
Walk-in appointments at the RBC Convention Centre supersite are no longer being accepted. Appointments can be booked by calling 1-844-626-8222.
