14-year-old arrested over stabbing of teen on Saturday

Winnipeg Police Service officers have arrested a 14-year-old youth after he allegedly stabbed a 17-year-old teen during an argument.
Police say it happened Saturday evening October 21, 2017, around 5:00 pm at a home in the 100 block of Cathedral Avenue.
Officers had been called to the home to check on the well-being of an injured male when they discovered the 17-year-old teen. He was in critical condition with stab wounds to the upper body. He was taken to hospital and is now in what investigators describe as guarded condition.
The suspect cannot be named but has been charged with aggravated assault and detained in custody
