130 new cases of COVID-19 were reported today. Two additional deaths were also reported.

The current COVID-19 test positivity rate is 3.4 per cent.

Of the cases identified in the province today, 90 are people who have not been vaccinated and 7 are people who have been partially vaccinated. 33 are people who are fully vaccinated

There are 927 active cases of COVID-19 in the province with 90 people hospitalized. 14 Manitobans are being treated in intensive care units

3,296 lab tests were taken yesterday. That brings the total number of COVID-19 tests completed in the province since February 2020 to 1,027,761.

The total number of people who died from the virus in Manitoba is 1,217.

The next COVID-19 update will be available on Tuesday, October 12. The province does not update COVID-19 data on weekends or stat holidays
